Following the purchase of land and approval from Northumberland County Council the cemetery has been extended from August 2018 and we are now able to offer woodland burials in the new section. The aim is to offer an alternative to traditional burials in the local area with a vision to create a peaceful, tranquil environment for families & friends to visit loved ones. Trees and flowers are planted and wildlife will be encouraged.
All plots will be single depth with a tree of your choice planted for a loved one. These mature trees can be purchased through A.J.Gascoigne & Son and will be transplanted during the winter months once the plots have settled.
Plots can be marked with green slate plaques (9”x9”) with personalised engraving.
