When a death occurs at home, a doctor or paramedic should be contacted as soon as possible. Then, once the doctor or paramedic has given authorization, we will attend and take the deceased person into our care. If death occurs in a hospital, nursing home or hospice, you can contact us directly and we will take care of all the practical matters for you.
When a death is sudden, unexpected or the result of an accident it will be reported to the Coroner for further investigation. The police will be contacted and will have to attend, this is a formality. The police will then contact a Funeral director of your choice, paper work will be completed by them and this will be forwarded to the coroner’s officer. This will probably mean a delay of 2 or 3 days, but in the meantime we can still assist with your funeral requirements.
When you want to meet us to organize the funeral arrangements, we will visit you at a residence of your choice or you can call to our premises.
